Single window scheme based on modern technology was implemented from 07/04/2025 in the Thane Police Commissioner's Office to bring ease and uniformity in the licensing process.

A new computer system is operational for new arms licenses, license renewals, extensions, interstate licenses, flammable licenses, ORCHESTRA and bar licenses issued at the Police Commissioner's Office. To bring ease and uniformity in the licensing process, a LICENCE MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE SYSTEM based on modern technology has been launched. Through this computer system, SMS facility is available to the license holders regarding license renewal. A single window scheme has been implemented from 07 April 2025 to bring consistency and dynamism in administrative work.
