With the aim of making the Thane City Police Force more citizen-centric and to effectively deliver various police services and initiatives to the public, the official social media platforms of Thane City Police — including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp — are being actively utilized. As part of this initiative, the Thane Police Commissionerate has launched the "Nirbhay Thane" WhatsApp Chat Bot service for citizens on the mobile number 70394 55555. This service was inaugurated today, on 29/08/2025, at the hands of the Hon’ble Additional Commissioner of Police, Dr. Dnyaneshwar Chavan.
